  • Amy Ramirez... marched Morrice Winter Percussion Indoor Drumline from 99-01(center snare 00 and 01), Lake Erie Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps 01(center snare in 01), Spirit Performing Youth Ensemble WGI World Class line 02 (Pit). Amy currently resides in Michigan and is a member of the 2003 Lake Erie Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps. She is also an active private instructor along with Drum Tech. Amy is currently on the Education Team with Vic Firth as a Marching Percussion Specialist. She teaches high school drumlines, indoor drumlines, and private drum lessons. In her spare time she teaches privately as a flute instructor and does ensemble work as a professional flutist.

  • Mary Ratliff... has been in several bands that have opened for the likes of Marty Stuart, Jessi Colter, the Oak Ridge Boys, Waylon Jennings, and Tammy Wynette.

  • Anne-Marie Rawk... plays with The Riff Randells in Vancouver, Canada. Not only does this 20 year old hit the drums hard but she is also super cute!

  • Rhonda Ray... learned to play at the age of nine.

  • RC-Drumhergirl... has been playing drums for 13 years and is currently playing in Miami with cover band Masterpeace, playing classic rock from the 60s to the 90s and current. RC is married with two children - a girl aged 5 and a boy aged 2. Email.

  • Rebecca Redfern... is fifteen and she loves drumming. Although it is one of her passions in life, she hasn't been playing very long. She hopes to join a band soon.

  • Layne Redmon... This New York hand percussionist is the author of When The Drummers Were Women, a book that traces the connection between women and drumming back to the origin of recorded history.

  • Jessica Reed... is thirteen years old. She participates in her high school band, the highschool's winter drumline, and in her own band, Exit Stage Left. She's the tenor's section leader in marching band. She also plays snare, bass, and timpani (in concert band).

  • Jennifer Rhinehart... started drumming at the tender age of ten.

  • Beth Rhodes... is the percussionist to Zulu-'Vision, formerly Jerry's Kids, and also their original songwiter and singer. In nine years together, their gig locations ranged from Portland to Elk Camp. The group rocks in their own creative way. Beth is also lead singer for The Brass Knuckles, a nine piece horn band that plays everything from blues to swing. They're from a small NW town of Kelso Washington: check the local paper for references. Beth's day job is Director of the Kelso Bridge Market, a farmer's market with artisans, specialty foods and live entertainment.

  • Marie Rice... a.k.a. "Nature Blu" has been playing since the ripe old age of 4. She is now playing proffessinaly for a new band by the name of Stage 3 out of South Carolina. She is also in the process of teaching her two daughters how to play.

  • Lindsey Richardson... is 17 and got her first set this past Christmas. She is working really hard to improve and hopes to take serious lessons this summer. A band may be in her future...the world is not ready for her yet, however.

  • Chelsea Ricky... is in her second year (04-05) on the Copperas Cove High School Drumline playing snare. She is very talented like her sister and even though she is the smallest one in the line, she wears that drum like it's a necklace. She is wished the best of luck in the future. Go Class of '07.

  • Hilary Ricky... plays in the Copperas Cove High School Band Drumline. She is section leader and plays center snare. This is her last year (04-05) with the band and she will be greatly missed. She is very talented and knows what she is doing.

  • Maggie Rimassa... is the drummer for the pop-punk band Same Day Service.

  • Rita... is a hard-hitting, hot Texas rocker who has played with everyone from Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers Band and Mark May to Michael Angelo and Ozzy Tribute Ozzmosis. She is currently tearing it up behind the kit with world rock band Reflective Theory.

  • Cyn Rivera... is currently drumming for The Nick Johnson Band, who recently performed in a Music Connection Magazine showcase in Hollywood! She's also tearing it up as the drummer for Fena as well as a few studio/session projects. Google "Cyn Rivera".

  • LaTisha Robinson... is 23 years old and lives in New York City. She played in bands throughout high school and now plays in church. LaTisha would like to take lessons to improve her playing and she hopes to play jazz and other music professionally in the future. Email.

  • Sandra Robles... been playing drums sicne 1998. She plays for her Lord and Savior and loves playing all types of music - from hard rock to cumbias. Sandra loves to play both Spanish and English music and her favorite band is Skillet. She is in a band called Rosa de Saron, which is a Spanish Christian band.

  • Viviana Robles... started playing djembe when she was11and kit when she was 14. Viviana is now 17 and she makes a lot of noise playing anything from jazz to metal. Email.

  • Dita Rosanti... from Bandung, Indonesia became a professional drummer at the age of 12. A talented and skillful drummer, Dita plays with Eleven O'c and has performed on television, at presidential events, and at international events. Email.

  • Meranda Kristine Roseberry... who is better known to her friends and fans as "Megan" is one of the youngest female drummers in her home state of Kansas. She played to Sweden's very own goth metal band DRAIN S.T.H.

  • Adrianne Royals... Self-taught and playing for ten years, Adrianne is the head drummer and occasional percussionist for her church in Brooklyn, New York.

  • Kietha Marie' Rush...playsthe cymbals, quints, and tenor drum for the Redan High School Blue Thunder Marching Band in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She also plays for the A.M.E. Zion Church and has participated in the concert band in middle school where she was the section leader of six other all male percussionists. She received her first set at the age of ten.

  • Becky Russell... began her drumming career at the age of 8 when her older brother brought home a pair of drumsticks. She regularly stole them out of his room until he finally gave them to her. She used them to beat on everything she could find every waking moment. A year later she got her first real drum when her mom brought one home to save the furniture. By sixth grade she was a regular in school bands and at 15 was one of the youngest member of the Georgia State Band, the Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corp. She continued playing drums throughout her high school years and then started in garage bands after graduation.

    Eventually her other talents took her away from drumming as she pursued a motorcycle racing career, wowed the off road community with her T-shirt illustrations and published her own coloring books. She also managed to settle down and start a family in the midst of all this excitement. In recent years Becky's first love of drumming has returned with a passion and she has played for bands all around the county, including Big Rig Deluxe, the Stiletto's, Chill Boy and the Thunderbirds, Bonneville 7 and Guana Batz when they've been in town from Europe. Also sub for the Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church. Becky lists as her musical influences Keith Moon and Ringo Starr. Drumming may be her first love, but she still finds time to ride her motorcycle with her husband and kids. Email.
