Christine Neal... is lead drummer in all-girl drumming group,
"The Little Sistah Drummers of Columbus, Ohio." She plays djembe
and dundun. Christine started drumming at age 2. There are 11 girls in
the group ranging in age from 11 to 18, who also sing and dance. Email.
Sarah
Nevison... lives in MN and plays in the concert band
at her highschool. In addition, Sarah is in the Drumline in her high school's
marching band and she loves it! She's just a freshman but has been drumming
forever, playing percussion since 6th grade. Sarah only plays bass, but
soon she will play tenors as well.

Lauren K Newman... drums for Portland, OR band Avenue
of the Strongest, a loud three-piece math rock band. LKN began drumming
in her teens in her home town of Pensacola, FL, backing up her brother
in various punk-rock groups and his surf-rock band, the Prosthetics.
LKN is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist. She's recorded and self-released
over 20 no-fi albums since 1997, and recently released an album on greydayproductions
of Portland, OR. Her drumming is polyrhythmic and passionate. It's not
uncommon to see LKN become entirely consumed with her drum perfomance.
Her ability and style has been deemed 'tribal' and 'athletic'. She executes
complex fills with skill, power, and precsion. She literally throws
her body into her drummimg, plays with marching sticks (butts out),
and uses a 14" floor tom as a rack tom, and an 18" tom as
a floor tom. Her drum kit is an always changing piece-meal of junked-out
old jazz kits and a faithful tama rockstar.
Sonja Nickenig...
plays with Robert Kreis & Seine Jazz-Sextanten. It is jazz of the

Ellen Niedospial... is a 12 year old
drummer from Chicago. She currently is not in a band, but she dreams
of being in one. She takes lessons and learns a lot from her dad, who
also plays the drums. She has a Pearl drum set and Sabian symbals. She
loves to listen to rock and roll with her friends, many of whom play
instruments - only one of them is a girl. Her favorite girl drummer
is Donna C. from The Donnas. Ellen is a very cool drummer girl.

Bambi Nonymous... has played with San Francisco's
Tragic Mulatto, Mudwimin and Frightwig. She is currently with Black

Sylvie Notermans... plays battle-metal in

the Netherlands. She has played percussion since the age of 8 and began
