You asked for it! Since we began compiling this list, drummergirls and fans of drummergirls from around the globe have sent us hundreds of new names to add. The range is amazing and explodes any preconceptions of what a female drummer is, or even of where she is. We're proud to say that our list encompasses drummers from up north in Alberta, Canada to down under in Melbourne, Australia. Together, these women represent an amazing community of musicians from every conceivable background. From djembes to Pearl Kits, teenage punks to hard-rock mothers, the drummergirl list has got it all.

Rather than continuing to maintain this list manually, we have established a free social networking community.
