  • Charity Calderon... started playing drums with cans at age seven. She first tried playing a real drum set at eight. She joined the church praise and worship team at 9 years of age and she's still in the band but switched to playing bass guitar in 1999. Charity participated with her high school in Battle of the Bands (drums *band leader) in 2001, winning 3rd place. In 2002 they came 3rd in the district and 5th in interschools.

  • Rachel Carns... used to be in the Olympia, Washington duo, Kicking Giant, and is currently part of The Need. From what we understand, Rachel plays with a kick drum right side up (like a tom), and uses a cordless mic/headset to be able to jump around, sing, and bang the hell out of her drums all at the same time.

  • Caroline... lives in Ontario, Canada and she has a very special girlfriend - a djembe from Ghana with a deerskin head.   • Terri Lyne Carrington... is a world-class jazz drummer and has played with everyone from Herbie Hancock to Cassandra Wilson.

  • Ashley Carter is a tenor player for her high school drumline. She has grown up around drums since she was a baby. She plans on joining Impulse, a professional drum and bugle corps in Southern California.

  • Nancy Clayton... has been a rudimental drummer for 41 years and her qualifications include a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Southwest Texas State University '71. In addition to directing high school bands, drum line instructing and judging, Nancy also gives Civil War drum programs for schools (100,000+ kids).   • Victoria Coleman... is 42 years old and lives in Frederick, MD. A friend gave Victoria his old drumset when she was a kid of about 11 years of age. It wasn't in the greatest shape, but ever since then she has wanted to play the drums. Victoria never thought that, being a woman, she could. When Victoria grew up she was told she could be a teacher or a nurse. Three months ago she bought a used set and started taking lessons. Victoria also jams with a bass player friend.   • Janet Colvin... played drums in the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra in the early 70's. She passed away in 1996.

  • Nikki Copeland... lives in Charlotte, North Carolina and is the drummer for a band called Pink Mascara. She has been in three different bands but this is the most recent.   • Jodie Copestake... Retired from drumming for a while to sing but when her boyfriend bought her the kit she had always dreamed of (Pearl Export, concorde purple) she decided it was time to dust the stix.   • Bern Cordova... former drummer from Love,dAriA. Bern, along with L,d bassist (Rio) have formed a new all-girl band called Sputter Doll.

  • Melissa Coronado... is 34 and has been drumming for her church in Sanger for 19 years. She has never been in a band, but says she would rather play for her God. Her favorite thing to do is jam with other musicians. She also plans to learn the violin. She says of all female drummers, "Keep On Drumming. Let's show the world that female drummers rock!!!!!!!"

  • Theresa Cote... is a very accomplished drummer who was recently signed as David Cassidy's drummer... she beat out lots of boy drummers to get the gig.

  • Myra Coutts... has been playing drums for about six years, most recently with Edinburgh's all-girl band Penny Hollow.

  • Dana Jo Cox... has been a drummer for more than 36 years, starting her professional playing career at age 6 in her parents club in Oklahoma. She has toured, recorded, and performed with many bands and performed clinics and product seminars all over the country. Dana’s education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance with emphasis in Percussion from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond Oklahoma. Dana has instructed thousands of students with many of them going on to pursue great musical careers.

    In 1995 Dana opened her own rep-firm Central Sales & Marketing, Inc. and is currently representing Zildjian, Ludwig, Musser, Aquarian, and Gator Cases as the territorial representative and clinician. In 1999 Dana relocated to Kansas City where she enjoys performing with Lost Dog Band and teaching.
