from the young all-girl "alternative/rock" group Live On Release
from Vancouver, Canada. The debut single, "I'm afraid of Britney Spears"
has been frequently aired on Much Music (Canada's answer to MTV), and is currently

Femme, No Homme?: The La Femme, No Homme?
CD is the result of Half a Cow Records deciding that it didn't have enough
female artists on its roster. The bands that are represented on the CD are
mainly female and mainly Australian, with a couple of East Coast US bands

We Go Again - Tuuli: Tuuli's new record "Here We Go" is chock
full of unapologetic poppy hooks. It's good that these girls have turned up
the distortion on their guitars for their brand of Canadian radio-friendly
punk rock, because the layered keyboard noises, un-growly vocals and occasional
horn make their act sound much less punk rock than they probably intend.....

- Inaugural
Cape Breton International Drum Festival: Held at the UCCB Boardmore Playhouse
in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada on April 17 and 18, 2002. The festival was
made up of clinics, workshops and performaces as well as a trade show which
included exhibitors such as Atlantic Music Supplies, Paiste, Yamaha, Musicstop,
Cape Breton Bodhrans, Roland, Pearl, Sabian, Evans, Pro Mark, Brennan’s Travel
